Mission/Purpose: Our mission is to create a space for fathers to engage in meaningful activities and events alongside their children, fostering stronger family relationships and deeper connections within our community. We aim to encourage active participation from fathers in their children's educational journey, empowering both students and dads to grow together. Through shared experiences, our club strengthens bonds between fathers, students, and families, fostering a sense of camaraderie and mutual support. Our club is committed to nuturing an environment where dads can share their experiences, offer guidance, and learn from one another.

About FLL: First Lego League is an international organization founded by accomplished inventor Dean Kamen in 1989. FIRST has a proven impact on STEM learning, interest, and skill-building well beyond high school.  Alumni of FIRST programs gain access to exclusive scholarships, internships, and other opportunities that create connections and open pathways to a wide variety of careers.

Planned Activities: Meets every Wednesday beginning the 3rd week  of school  from  4:00 PM to 5:20PM in Ms. Tamas’ STEM Lab. (Red Hall Room 7.225).

Mission/Purpose: Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is the largest student organization in the nation and we are honored to give our students the opportunity to become active members of this coveted organization. The mission of FBLA is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. As an FBLA member at DMS, you are encouraged to participate in school and community service projects, state and national leadership development programs, local, state, and national conferences and competitions, and a variety of social events throughout the year. We encourage all of you to join us this year!

Planned Activities: Meetings are every other Friday beginning 2nd Friday of school (August 15th) at 8:15AM in the Media Center.

Mission/Purpose: The purpose of the DMS Beta Club is to promote the ideals of character, service, and leadership among students.

Mission/Purpose: The purpose of the Student Council is to provide students with input into their school and to provide a link between the faculty and the student body.

Student Council representatives are elected and will serve all year as a student voice to administration. Representatives must run for election and be willing to work hard both during school hours and after school hours. They must maintain a 3.0 average or above.

Planned Activities: Meets every month once elected. Student Council sponsors school and community activities including spirit week, food drives during the holidays, meetings with high school student council members, as well as helping with school socials and PBIS rewards.
