Students arriving early to Dacula MS must be dropped off in the bus lanes at the cafeteria entrance off of Old Auburn Road.
Please do not drop students off before entry time, at any other school entrance, or in the staff parking lot.
Entry begins at 7:55am and ends at 8:35am.
Students attending morning tutoring need to be dropped off by 8:15am.
After 8:35am all students must be dropped off through the car rider lanes.
Students should not be dropped off at the front entrance at any time unless they are late and arriving after 9:20am.
Car Rider Drop Off and Pick Up
Please do nost start lining up in the car rider lane prior to 8:30am and 3:40pm. If you arrive before these times, please wait at Dacula Park.
Please have your car rider tag/number visible and hanging from your rear-view mirror when entering the car lanes for afternoon dismissal.
Use the route indicated below (Auburn Road to Dacula Road to DMS Entrance) when lining up for car rider..**Please note - blocking Dacula Road could result in a traffic violation issues by local law enforcement.
Making a left into the DMS school entrance is prohibited between the hours of 8:30am-9:15an and 3:40pm-4:15pm. If you arrive during these times, you will still be required to enter the line using Auburn Road to gain access to the school. *This will ensure our car rider lane continues to flow smoothly and help decrease the likelihood of an accident.
When exiting DMS between the hours of 8:30am-9:15am and 4:00pm-4:15pm, making a left turn onto Dacula Road is prohibited. All those exiting the entrance of the school are required to make a right turn onto Dacula Road. *This will ensure our car rider lane continues to flow smoothly and help decrease the likelihood of an accident.
DMS Staff will be in the car rider areas during morning drop off and afternoon pick up to help manage the entire process including merging traffic. Please adhere to their directions to help ensure the safety of students and the flow of traffic.
