Dacula Middle School Summer Learning Loss Prevention Programs

Students who continue reading and practicing important skills during the summer are more prepared, confident, and successful when school begins again. Dacula Middle School is excited to offer several ways for students to stay engaged and prevent summer learning loss.

An infographic titled "Summer Loss" highlights the impact of the summer break on student learning. It features two main statistics: Math Loss: Students lose an average of 2.6 months of math computational skills, illustrated by a child's silhouette with a downward arrow. Reading Loss: Students lose an average of 2 months of reading skills, paired with an icon of a confused student looking at an open book.
